“Hi you must be Katherine.” She said with a dramatic sweet voice with a fake smile plastered on her face and I gave back a blank look which seemed to tick her off if the way her jaw clenched was of any evidence. I never replied or mind those people who were bitchy towards me. I can the worst bitch ever and the sweetest person at the same time it all depends on the way people address me. Let’s just say I am like a mirror. My attitude towards a person depends entirely on the way a person shows to me.
“Hi and yes, I am Katherine. Let me cut to the chase neither you nor I like each other so lets just get this over with so neither of us have to see each other’s face.” I said very bluntly to the redhead, shocking her, which was masked pretty quickly with yet another fake smile. Don’t even ask me why she even bothers to do that.
“Mr. Scott is waiting for you. He doesn’t like those who are not punctual, so let me show you to his room before you get scolded on you first day, shall we.” She said showing me fake concern. No matter how much a person acts, I can see through their act pretty easily, and that’s the main reason why no one can hide a secret from me. No matter best friend or boyfriend. That’s the main reason why I can find out if Mandy or Ry is hiding something.
I follow her from the big room where there’s a small desk-like-cubicle to wall on the left and several chairs on the right I assume it must be the waiting room to take a right and through a small hallway to stand in front of wooden double doors. She knocked on the door and then left after nodding to me. Inhaling a huge chunk of air in and exhaling it out, I opened one door and came inside the large room.
As I enter the office to my left was the 4 modern white sofa chairs arranged in a box shape with the glass table in between which had a flower in middle. To my right is the wall was floor-ceiling glass through which we can see most of the Newyork city. It was such a beautiful sight, and to my front is the most handsome person sitting on a modern chair and table with a stoic face. He looks so handsome in his suit. An emotion passes his eyes in a millisecond speed as he looks me from toe to head and when we look into each other’s face, I saw him with his jaw clenched tightly.
He cleared his throat, asking me to enter his office. In a professional way as if talking to one of his clients he tells me all that I need to know to start on my design for his new building and calls his secretary in to show me my cubicle which he has made recently for the designer to be on the same floor as his so he could inform his ideas and changes on the spot wasting no one’s time. As I got up he put forward his hand and I put forward mine for a handshake.
“Miss Marshal, I hope you have a pleasant time working here.” He says with no emotions to his face.
“Thankyou Mr. Scott.” I say with the same no-emotion tone and saw his jaw clenched as I called him formally. Like I said, no matter who, I can be a total bitch if you act that way towards me.
