Alec wasn't too surprised. It was to be expected. "There are many families in Bardoff City. Plenty of them have their sights set on the Fausts. Alec was surprised. Could a person like that still come back to life?

"Does Alfred know about this?" Alfred was Mortimer's son now. Alec couldn't be bothered. He'd sent someone to look over Mortimer so that Mortimer would not play any tricks. It wasn't because Alec cared about him.

"Yes, he does." Vincent nodded.

Alec waved his hand dismissively. "That's alright, then. We need not interfere."

"Alright." Vincent was not surprised. He just knew that he had to tell Alec about it.
