On the way back, Jenny leaned against the car window without saying a word. Alec looked at her with concern and asked, "What are you thinking about?"

"It's nothing. I just feel that the human heart is really hard to fathom," Jenny sighed. The Evan she remembered seemed to have completely disappeared.
