"Are you Jenny?" the woman asked with a predatory gaze.

Jenny looked at her helplessly, feeling the pain coming from her wrist vividly. She couldn't muster up the strength to talk to her assailant at all.

The woman wasn't angry and continued to exert force. She finally removed her foot when she saw Jenny's increasingly strained expression.

She squatted down, lifted Jenny's chin, and mocked, "That's more like it. Here I was, wondering how pretty the woman Evan loved could be."

It wasn't hard to tell that the woman felt she was much better looking than Jenny.

"But maybe you just happen to be Evan's cup of tea." The woman then took out a small dagger from her bag and waved it close to Jenny's face menacingly. "If I make a few cuts on your face, Evan probably won't like you anymore."

No one liked ugly things. The woman thought that Evan was no exception. She came to the conclusion that Evan would no longer like Jenny if she became ugly. Therefore, she was ready to take action as she spoke.

Jenny wanted to resist, but she simply didn't have the strength to do so. She could only stare at the person in front of her and made sure to remember her face.

Just then, the dungeon door was opened again, and Howard walked in. He immediately saw what the woman was about to do. Feeling alarmed, he quickly stepped forward to stop her. "What do you think you're doing, Olivia?!"

He arrived just in time—if he was any later, Jenny would have been disfigured.

"What do you think? I'm just giving her a little lesson." Olivia Myers stood up, looking at Jenny as if she was looking at something filthy. "Evan has suffered so much because of her. Are you still going to help her?" she asked.

Howard glared at her and warned impatiently, "She's the person Boss wants. He won't let you off the hook if you dare to touch her."
