Jenny and Max were on the same page on that matter. "Max just wants to be good to you. Which woman wouldn't want a grand wedding?"

"So what if we had a grand wedding? It won't hold us back at all from having arguments in the future," Jade said in a mocking tone.

Jenny could not help but burst out laughing. She didn't know what to say. "It's because you'll argue in the future that you have to save some good memories. This way, when you guys do argue later on, you'll be reminded of how much you loved each other back then when you think of the wedding."

Jade pursed her lips and said nothing.

She wanted to say that all these were useless. She also had a grand wedding with Hayden back then, but that didn't stop them from arguing and fighting. In the end, he betrayed her and forced her to agree to the divorce without taking even a cent for alimony.
