Jenny remained silent and decided to hang up. She was in a bad mood and didn't want to listen to Alec's nonsense. On the other end of the phone, Alec was still driving and looked confused at her ending the call so suddenly. Although he didn't understand what exactly had happened, one thing was clear to him—Jenny was not happy. He stepped on the gas pedal as he headed toward Walter Castle.

A few minutes later, Alec appeared in the living room of Walter Castle, standing in front of Jenny.

"Jenny, can you at least tell me the reason you're angry? I'm really worried about you," Alec said, looking at Jenny beside him, unsure what to say.

Jenny narrowed her eyes and ignored him, which made Alec frustrated. He had no idea why Jenny was upset, so he sat silently, trying hard to recall what he might have done to make her unhappy. Surprisingly, an idea soon popped up in his mind.

He looked at Jenny and asked, "Jenny, are you angry because of Faye?"

Upon hearing her name, Jenny sneered at him. "So, you finally know the reason."

Alec was exasperated. "Jenny, it's not that I didn't know the reason. She just never crossed my mind, so I didn't bring it up."

Jenny threw her phone at Alec. "She never crossed your mind? Well, you've crossed her mind."

Alec looked at the contents on her phone, and his face fell. He hadn't seen the post, most likely because Faye had blocked him.

"I had arranged a meeting with the Wardleys today to discuss a deal, but I didn't expect her to show up. Now she and her brother are part of the Wardley family," Alec explained.
