Zeke nodded. Without warning, his tone turned sharp as he said, "Since you've divorced, it means you're not meant to be together. It's better to keep your distance from each other in the future."

"Mr. Faust, this is a matter between Alec and me. You're interfering too much." She was already angry with Alec. Hence, hearing Zeke say that only made her more furious.

"Alec is a good kid. He is a capable person who knows his limits. I have high hopes for him, and I don't want him to be disturbed."

Zeke was not upset by Jenny's angry rebuttal. If a few words from a young person could anger a person of his age, he would have learned nothing during all the time he had lived.

While Jenny didn't understand the relationship between Alec and the Fausts, she understood what Zeke meant. He was telling her that she was not worthy of Alec.

It made Zeke take a second look at her. He suddenly found her rather charming. "You really are something, and I like that about you. I have several grandsons, all of whom are handsome and well-behaved. Would you like to consider any of them?"

It was rare for him to be satisfied with a young person. Thus, Zeke wanted to make her a part of the Fausts. While he wouldn't expect her to do anything for the family, at least she wouldn't cause them trouble.
