"Dad, do you think she meant her words?" Randy was wary despite Jenny's verbal agreement to consider the deal. In his eyes, Jenny was sly and duplicitous. Her willingness to work with the Glasses invited suspicion as Randy wondered if she was scheming against them.

Wayne pondered the idea for a while and said, "That's hard to tell, but we're alright as long as she doesn't make us her enemy. As for the partnership with the Walters, we'll need to wait until Graham Walter is no longer in charge of the company."

As long as Graham was around, it would be difficult for the two families to form a genuine partnership.

"Does that mean you will spare Jenny Walter?" Randy knew that the mercenary hired by Wayne had arrived in Bardoff City and was ready to go after her at any time.
