To Be Yours Again novel (Alec and Jenny) novel Chapter 666

Jenny wanted to say something more, as she was a little worried about James' current situation. However, he obviously didn't want to continue the conversation, so she could only end the call.

Graham called her afterward and asked her to come upstairs to his office. Jenny guessed that he had probably seen the news and was not in a good mood.

She got up and left her office, and the staff began to gossip about the matter like they were watching a drama unfold. They didn't have a good impression of Jolene. Although they initially thought she was a good match for Brandon, they couldn't help but feel that she didn't deserve all that good fortune. Why could someone undeserving like her get all the good things that life had to offer?

They felt conflicted when her affair with James was brought to light. While they were happy that she ruined her reputation carelessly, they were also worried that she would emerge as the final victor instead.

What if James married her? The Windsors were far superior to the Britts. If she managed to marry into the Windsors, she would have gained the maximum advantage from this whole mess.

Jenny arrived at Graham's office as the office buzzed with hushed discussions. When she went in, Graham was on the phone. It was evident from his expression he was in a horrible mood. After a while, the call ended. Graham angrily smashed his phone against the wall and bellowed, "Unbelievable! God damn it!"

"Dad, calm down." Although she thought Jolene's behavior was despicable, it simply wasn't worth getting all worked up over her.

When Graham heard her voice, he tried to calm himself down. "You saw the news, right?"

"Yeah. I've seen it, and I've also talked to James," Jenny replied.

"Well, what did he say?" Graham was a little resentful when James was mentioned.

Jenny could tell that he wasn't pleased and hurriedly explained, "It's not James' fault. He was set up."

Hearing that, Graham's expression further darkened. "Of all the things she could've learned, she went and picked up all of her mother's dirty tricks!"
