Luke felt embarrassed. It was indeed his plan. Although he had run it past his father, he had not offered any suggestions for improvement. It led to Luke thinking that his plan was perfect.

"Don't you dare get too excited!" Luke gnashed his teeth and waved his hand. The people hidden in their surroundings rushed forward.

When Luke thought of the other illegitimate children eyeing his position as the heir, he panicked. He no longer cared if backup would arrive in time. He called them, then said to the ones fighting Alec, "Trap him! Stall him!"

They were no match for Alec. Anyone who tried to attack him would be taken out at once. There was no point in fighting. They would rather save themselves and wait for backup.
