The elevator opens and I step out. It's 8 p.m. and after working the whole day mostly after what happened with Ethan, I am so tired. I reach my apartment door and press the doorbell and then my eyes fall on my hands.

Blood

When I was bandaging his hand, maybe then I got blood on my hands.

The door opens and Nick sticks his head out.

"Hey, baby." He greets smiling.

"Hi," I say and get inside.

"Where is Lee?" I ask looking around and throw my purse on the couch.

"She is making 'surprise' for you," Nick says with a cheeky smile and I smile in return.

"Oh my God, Evie, your hand is bleeding." He screams as he moves towards me and holds my hand.

"No, no. It's not my blood."

"Then whose?"

"Long story. Let me freshen up first. I am tired."

"Ok, but you have to tell me later."

"Yeah," I say and make my way to my bedroom.

I kick off my heels forcefully and they slump down somewhere with a loud sound. I pull out my phone and throw it on the bed but my speed was a bit higher so it kept on rotating before...

I want to break everything.

Reaching the door of my walk-in closet, I give another kick and it barges against the wall producing another noise. Yeah, I am angry and taking it out on innocent things. Because, unlike certain someone, I don't have any intention to break my hand punching the wall.
