Chapter 0117
I tilted my head innocently. Then, I asked nonchalantly, “Why did you bring him up?”
A look of realization appeared on my face immediately. “Oh… Do you want me to protect you next time?”
Then, I reached out to pinch Nicholas on the nose before tapping on the tip, just like how he always did to me back then.
Nicholas was a feisty one. He grabbed my hand and lifted it to his lips before biting it gently. Just like that, a ring of teeth marks appeared on my skin.
He scoffed. “You can’t even dodge this attack. How can you protect me like this?”
I just smiled as I rolled my wrist around.
It felt as if his teeth had acid that burned through my skin. Nicholas didn’t use much force at all, yet he was able to leave such obvious marks on the back of my hand. Somehow, the phantom heat surging from it made my arm tremble.
As far as I knew, only couples who were in love would make such intimate gestures. But I knew very well that Nicholas never loved me. He had emphasized that fact to me multiple times, after all.
He didn’t bring Neal up out of jealousy. He was merely being possessive over me.
I was his wife who knew exactly what he liked, not to mention I could spice up his life in ways that no other woman could. At the same time, I could satisfy all of his sexual fantasies too. He couldn’t bear to let other men form relationships with me.
I leaned over to pull Nicholas‘ wrist over before planting a kiss on the back of his hand. “I never intended to dodge you. I know you won’t hurt me at all.”
Stars dotted the night sky outside the window, and their faint light illuminated. Nicholas‘ breathtaking features. A small smile appeared on his lips, and his dark eyes. reflected the glimmer of the stars. He looked so attractive and charming.
Nicholas lifted my chin with an index finger, a compliment soon leaving his lips. Good.”
I held his finger and slowly lifted it to my lips before biting it. While I ground my teeth on his finger lightly, I made sure to look at him with nothing but infatuation in my
eyes.

The next thing I knew, Nicholas curled his finger so that he could tug me forward with my mouth. He slowly withdrew his finger, pulling out a transparent strand of drool from my mouth. He bit it off before kissing me.
Nicholas licked his lips. “Leave it to me.” He kissed me again before adding, “What should I do, Mrs. Hawk? I don’t want to see you focusing on other matters.
