The butler was stunned. What kind of wedding banquet would it be without the bride?
Madam Grace was the main character in this wedding banquet, but she did not want to attend it and he couldn't tell her the truth.
This was a surprise prepared for her from the President.
For a moment, he stood there awkwardly. He didn't know what to say.
She noticed the butler's complex expression and hesitation. He must have been hiding something.
She continued to threaten him, "At that time, I will not only not attend, but also blame it on you."
"No, Madam Grace." The butler immediately smiled and ingratiated her. "How can you not attend? You are the main character. You are the mistress of the Jones family."
She just smiled and watched him carry on.
"Ah, I've said too much. You'd better ask Mr. Heinz." He was anxious. He had let the cat out of the bag. How should he explain it to the President?
"I still want you to tell me. If you tell me, I may cooperate with you and not tell Heinz. However, if you don't tell me, I will hold a grudge against you," she continued to terrorize him. "So, it's up to you whether to tell me or not."
"Madam Grace, you aren't such a person," he continued to smile.
Actually, the butler had known her for a long time and he knew she was a sensible person. She would not seek revenge for the smallest grievances.
However, she smiled playfully and looked at him, "You still don't know me well. I really will take revenge, especially for things that are hidden from me. Think about it carefully. Do you want to tell me your secret?"
"What am I gonna do with you!" He thought for a moment and asked uncertainly, "Madam Grace, do you promise not to tell the President? If I tell you this, will you not tell him?"
"Of course I won't tell him. You only need to pretend that I don't know anything, then you will not be punished. In the meantime, I won't feel distressed, and can be prepared for it. Isn't this good for both of us?" She persuaded.
"Alright then." the butler gritted his teeth and gave in. "I'll tell you."
She grinned, "Good! You should have told me earlier. Then we wouldn't have wasted our time."
He had no choice but to tell her, "Mr. Heinz has been preparing a small wedding for you for the past two days. He's only inviting the whole family, and it will be held at home. He will give you a grand wedding after you give birth."
"A wedding?" Grace was really surprised.
"Yes." The butler felt very wronged, "The President hasn't said anything yet, but I have leaked it. It was supposed to be a secret."
The secret was dug out by Madam Grace just like that.
"Since I am the main figure, why can't I know about it? It's right that you tell me this secret," she said with a smile.
Although she had mentioned the wedding ceremony before, she didn't expect that Heinz would really realize it and wanted to surprise her. This was indeed unexpected.
Seeing that she was surprised and happy, the butler thought for a moment and reminded her, "Madam Grace, I have told you what I know. Can you please don't tell Mr. Heinz about this, or else he will punish me."
"Don't worry, I won't," Grace smiled and promised. "Well, you may carry on with your work. I promise not to tell him that I already know about the wedding."
"Thank you, Madam Grace. Thank you." He thanked her twice in a row.
She felt that it was quite funny.
After he left, she returned to her room.
Heinz went to take a bath and changed his clothes once he came back.
Grace had his clothes prepared. After he came out from the shower and put on his bathrobe, he hugged her.
She smiled and asked, "Why are you so affectionate?"
He replied with a smile, "I'm glad to see you."
At the same time, he used his large hand to measure her waist. He felt that her waist had grown a little thicker, and her lower abdomen had protruded a little.
