True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) novel Chapter 1149

Zachary was shocked. Her words were like firewood that could easily light up a fire.

His eyes surged as he stared at Yvonne, "Are you sure?"

Only then did Yvonne realize what she meant by inviting him into the shower, causing her to start blushing.

"Achoo!"

She sneezed again, which resolved the moment of awkwardness between them.

She covered her mouth and made up her mind. "Let's go together, or you're going to catch a cold after waiting for so long."

Zachary was still hesitating.

Yvonne rubbed her nose while her other hand continued to hold onto Zachary's sleeve.

With a little more strength, she could probably rip up his sleeve.

The knuckles of her delicate and fair hands were turning white due to how much strength she was exerting.

When she noticed how he stared at her silently, she smiled embarrassedly and attempted to let go.

Yet, she couldn't help but to try one last time. "Don't be so melodramatic, okay? We can save so much time by showering together. If we waste more time, we're both going to catch a cold."

Zachary frowned and asked in a deep voice, "Are you sure you want the both of us to shower together?"

He sounded hoarse and his voice clearly conveyed the emotions and hidden meaning behind his question.

Yvonne loosened her grip.

Zachary's eyes narrowed.

Yvonne immediately reached out to grab his hand and nodded her head. "I'm sure, very sure. Zachary, I've never ever felt so sure in my entire life."

She loved Zachary.

This man was the only love of her life.

What was there for her to be uncertain about?

The next second, the door of the bathroom was closed.

Zachary threw her into the bathtub.

The water from the tub splashed everywhere.

The warmth of this room combined with the heat of the bath water.

Naturally, Yvonne couldn't escape from getting handled by him.

More than an hour passed.

Zachary finally let go of her. When she returned to the bedroom, she buried her face under the blanket to avoid looking at Zachary.

Otherwise, she would feel embarrassed.

They didn't say anything but merely expressed each other's feelings through practical actions.

Some things were like that. At the start, one might have to take a while to overcome the sense of embarrassment, but afterwards, one would realize that there was also an embarrassing aftermath to deal with.

This was seriously embarrassing.

She took a deep breath under the blanket.

The room was completely quiet, without any sound.

Yvonne was in a daze for a long time before she realized that there was no sound at all. She lifted a corner of the blanket to identify slowly if Zachary was also in the room, and ended up looking into his eyes, which were looking at her.

His gaze was deep, surging and sharp. He looked at her like this without blinking, as if he could suck in her emotions through his eyes alone.

Yvonne felt rather flustered and blushed even more, and then proceeded to hide herself under the blanket again.

Zachary did not expose her embarrassment either. He simply continued to stare at her while a hint of radiance flashed through his eyes.

Yvonne felt like she was acting too melodramatic. Why did she have to behave like this after her actions just now?

She then decided to pull down the blanket and try to look natural as she asked Zachary, "Do you have a set of clothes to change into?"

Zachary did not speak.

Yvonne looked at him, and only then did she realize that he had already changed into a set of loungewear.
