True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) novel Chapter 1404

Celeste did not know what she was feeling, and Gary's arrogance also made her a little annoyed. However, due to her uncomfortable physical condition, she did not try to struggle or reject him.

Gary carried her into the bathroom and placed her on top of the toilet bowl carefully. He said, "Wait a minute, I'll bring you something."

Celeste pursed her lips without saying a word.

She watched as Gary walked out quickly. When he returned, he was holding something in his hand.

Celeste was startled to see that he was holding a sanitary pad in his hand.

He was thoughtful enough to remember this.

"Thank you," Celeste thanked him.

"You're welcome," Gary looked down at her, a hint of pain flashing through his eyes.

Since when did they become so distant from each other?

She held the sanitary pad in her hand and waited for him to leave the bathroom so that she could use the toilet in peace. However, Gary did not move, and continued to stand right in front of her.

Celeste was forced to lift her head and look at him. The moment their eyes met, both of them felt a wave of emotions fluttering in their hearts.

Celeste pursed her lips. She wanted to say something, but in the end, she swallowed her words and remained silent.

Gary's gaze was fixed on her eyes. He noticed that her lips were parted slightly, but she did not say a word.

All the regret and pain he felt in his heart flashed quickly and disappeared at the speed of light.

Finally, he turned around and walked out of the bathroom.

Celeste was staring at his back as he left. The muscles on his broad and smooth back were solid, and they flexed with tension.

Gary looked just like the country's top model.

Celeste made sure that the door was closed before she lowered her gaze and proceeded to use the toilet. Fortunately, her bleeding had stopped.

She took a closer look and let out a sigh of relief.

She finished using the toilet. Before she could stand up, the door burst open.

Celeste's heart dropped immediately and she looked up subconsciously, only to meet Gary's deep and mesmerizing eyes. Those eyes were focused on her as she sat on the toilet bowl, and they were filled with desire and lust for her.

"Get out of here!" She shouted at him, feeling ashamed and angry.

Gary continued to stare at her intensely, his gaze growing deeper and deeper. On the surface, he felt like a calm sea. However, Celeste could detect the rough waves surging from within him, threatening to crash onto the rocks and swallow one alive. It was as though the calm before the storm.

Celeste's face turned red, and feelings of embarrassment started to appear on her pretty face.

"I regret it," Gary said out of nowhere.

Celeste was startled. She tugged on her clothes tightly with a little bit more force.

Meanwhile, Gary was still staring at Celeste. He did not intend to come in and just continued to stand at the door. His tall physique and solid muscles were radiating a frightening but stunning aura.

After saying this sentence, he fell silent for about a minute.

Celeste's heart was in a mess, and her heartbeat was beating irregularly.

She probably knew what he wanted to say.

"I don't want things to end between us," Gary admitted sincerely.

Celeste looked at him subconsciously, and saw that Gary was swallowing thickly. He looked at her with a complicated expression, and there seemed to be a very deep passion in his eyes.

He did not avoid her gaze and continued to say, "Even by looking at you like this, I can't control myself."

Gary pointed down at himself, and Celeste followed his hand as she looked over.

She widened her eyes and allowed her reddening face to be seen by him as she did not avoid his gaze.

Even though Gary was like this, his facial expression still looked calm. No matter how much emotion was churning in his pitch-black eyes, he tried to suppress them.

He pursed his thin lips, and his eyelashes drooped slightly. It made him look extremely defeated and devastated.

Looking at him made Celeste's heart tighten, and she felt a little down too.

Gary probably spoke and treated her politely because he knew that he had hurt her.

He felt guilty.

No matter what feelings he had for her, it only seemed like he was being possessive with her.

She did not answer him.

"Can we start over?" Gary asked once again.

"What about Janice?" Celeste suddenly raised her voice slightly. Maybe deep down, his relationship with Janice was really bothering her.

"What does this have to do with her?" Gary frowned in confusion.

Celeste laughed at herself sarcastically, "You really do care about her."
