True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) novel Chapter 167

"Grace, I'm really sorry.” Marry Smith said, "I sent the photo album to you because I thought you might want to see it."

"Haha!" Grace sneered. "You think so? On what basis did you think I wanted to see the album?"

"I did it for your own good." Marry's voice was very gentle, her tone unperturbed by Grace's unkind words.

"For my own good?" Grace scoffed. "Then tell me, how is it for my own good?"

"If those photos are able to make you remember the good times we had, it will be good for you, Simon and myself." Marry explained.

"Then you should have given it to me directly. Why did you give it to Heinz?" Grace snorted. "What are you trying to achieve?"

"Grace." Marry called her sister's name in exasperation, "Having given it to Heinz, weren't you able to see what his true feelings were? If he likes you, he wouldn't care about this. This is also a test, isn't it?"

"Bah!" Grace interrupted her coldly. "I think you're afraid that Heinz and I end up falling in love with each other. Marry, I know what you're thinking and there's really no need for you to do that."

Marry replied lowly, "Don't you want to know if Heinz loves you?"

"No." Grace said in a deep voice, "I don't want to manipulate others. Scheming here and there. In the end, I will lose myself."

Relationships are not meant to be tested this way.

It is up to you whether to believe it or not.

"If it's meant to be, it's meant to be. Why must you do something like this?"

When Heinz heard Grace's firm words, he fell into a deep thought.

"Grace," Marry uttered, "Heinz treats you as-"

"What does it have to do with you?" Grace asked in a cold voice, "It's between the both of us, what does it have to do with you?"

"Grace, was Heinz really angry?" Marry asked.

"Isn't this what you wanted to see?" Grace pointed out rudely, "You will not be able to deceive me with your schemes anymore. Six years ago, I was naive and I didn't understand what was happening. But now that I have been through so much, you can't expect me to fall for your same old tricks again.."

"Grace, I didn't scheme against you." Marry uttered softly.

"Then was I imagining things?" Grace said in a cold voice, "You should be wary of the bad influence you bring upon the child in your belly now that you're pregnant."

"Grace. Please don't speak of something so horrible." "Then you shouldn't do such despicable things." "Since you are so upset at me, I will not say more." Marry said, "Anyway, Simon is in the hospital. He has gastritis. And all these years I know he never loved me. He clearly only has you in his heart."

Grace frowned again. "Marry, what do you mean?"

"It's the truth. If you want to be together with Simon again, I am willing to back off. I really can't bear to see him so sorrowful anymore because of you."

Grace's cold eyes looked out of the window. Listening to these words, she was speechless. "I don't want to know what you you are trying to tell me but Simon is nothing but trash to me now. And you and him are a perfect match."

After that, Grace hung up the phone.

She sat on the sofa with her eyebrows knitted in anger.

Heinz glanced at her and said, "I told you not to answer, but you insisted on answering. What's the point of talking nonsense with her?"

"I can't figure out what she's thinking. Anyway, she wants to destroy our relationship." Grace pursed her lips and said, "I feel ashamed."

He scooped her over and let her lean on his shoulder. "What's there to be ashamed about?"

"Isn't it shameful to have such a sister?"

"I don't think so." Heinz shook his head. "She's her, and you are you. You're different from her."

"I hope you can differentiate between us both," Grace said softly.

"Of course." Heinz replied.

"Why?" Grace questioned.

"She's jealous." Heinz said in a deep voice.

"Jealous?" Grace frowned. "What is she jealous about? I can't compare with her at all."
