True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) novel Chapter 171

Grace looked at Marry in doubt. The words that came out of her sister's mouth - she wasn't sure why, but it gave her a strange feeling.

Grace stared at Marry for a while, unable to decipher what her true intentions were.

Marry noticed her suspicion, "I'm really not plotting anything against you. I wish you nothing but happiness.."

Grace narrowed her eyes. "I don't need your insincere blessing."

"You don't have to be so wary." Marry said, "To be honest, as long as you are not with Simon, I wish you happiness with anyone else."

That sounded a little more plausible.

She could tell that her sister wasn't faking it.

Marry loves Simon very much. It was evident when they were younger, and all the more so now.

"Although I wish you both well, who knows if you are able to stay together till the very end." Marry answered grimly, staring straight at her younger sister. "Nevertheless, my blessings are sincere. Heinz isn't a man who can be controlled easily. I don't know how long you can be happy."

Grace listened to her sister intently.

"My priority is to protect Grandma's garden." Marry said again, "I hope we can work together towards this goal."

"I will not help you." Grace refused coldly.

"Sure." Marry responded, "If it bodes well with your conscience that Grandma's garden is being torn down by strangers, feel free to decline my request then."

"Get out," Grace said in a cold voice.

"Okay, I will not bother you any longer." Marry turned to leave.

After Marry left the room, Grace collapsed on the bed. Her long eyelashes trembled slightly as she leaned against the pillows.

She could feel a migraine coming.

When Heinz returned to the room, he noticed Grace shifting uncomfortably and appeared restless. He frowned, "I'd only stepped out for a minute and you're already looking a little disturbed. What's wrong?"

"It's nothing." Grace shook her head and looked into his eyes with a wry smile.

"Did Marry come here just now?" Heinz looked at her quietly, "Did she say something awful to upset you?"

Grace was stunned at his question. "Did you see her?"

"Yes." Heinz nodded and sat down on the bed. "Why did she look for you?"

"It's okay." Grace didn't know how to start.

She felt that it was inappropriate for her to talk about her grandmother's garden.

Heinz raised his eyebrows slightly, "Don't tell me that your sister came here to visit you? And nothing else?"

Grace shook her head, "Can we stop talking about her?"

Heinz's eyes flashed. He nodded, "Okay."

"It gives me a headache just talking about her." Grace replied helplessly.

Heinz smiled and immediately stopped talking about Marry.

After the injection, Grace felt that her energy return.

"Heinz, why do I feel that I'm all better now?"

Heinz's eyes flashed, "That's the power of medicine." "Is the medication that powerful?" Grace muttered, "I felt as though I'd never gotten sick at all. Maybe just a small flu instead, but that wouldn't have made my body shut down so suddenly like it did.."

There was a slow glimmer in Heinz's eyes. He glanced at Grace and removed himself from the bed. "Even if you feel that you have recovered, you ought to complete the rest of course of the medication. Take these three days off to rest. It'll be troublesome if you get sick again."

"But aren't you busy?" Grace looked at him, "If you're busy, you should go to work."
