True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) novel Chapter 200

Alice Smith looked at Jensen Charm again with doubts in her eyes. After staring at him for a few seconds, she realized that she was being inappropriate, so she turned to look at Heinz Jones instead.

Heinz glanced at Alice and said, "Officer Charm will help you figure the matter out. He won't side you, but at least he won't accuse you unfairly. You don't have to worry."

"Why are you being so kind?" Alice looked at Heinz suspiciously.

Several other security guards also looked at each other.

Jensen also smiled and said, "Miss Smith, don't worry. I won't treat any good person unjustly, and I won't let a bad person go scot-free either."

Alice felt Jensen's voice was a little familiar, as if she had heard it from somewhere before. Besides, when she heard it, she was unconsciously alert. It inevitably reminded her of that man from before.

However, Alice couldn't confirm her suspicions. After all, she didn't see the man's face and had only heard his voice. It was because Jensen's voice was a little familiar to her that somehow aroused some memories in her heart.

Quickly, she adjusted her mood and said, "I was caught by them by mistake. I did beat these two people up, on the premise that these hooligans

approached and tried to harass me. Then I was brought here, being suspected of stealing. I don't know what's going on. You know what to do!"

Alice said these words in a clear-cut manner, giving people a straightforward impression of her.

Jensen looked at her and didn't take his eyes off her.

The corners of his lips could not help but rise, revealing a deep smile. "I understand what you mean. Now, let's go in and understand the whole story first, okay?"

Alice frowned and said, "Okay."

Jensen took them inside for interrogation.

This time, Jensen did not leave. He participated in the interrogation.

He sat there and watched quietly. The whole process was routine and all the necessary questions were asked. Alice really didn't know anything, and there was no evidence to prove that she was an accomplice.

At last, Jensen asked the security guards, "Why did you bring her here? She has nothing to do with the case at all."

The security guard hesitated and said, "Because we're worried that the two gangsters would escape. We're a little old and we can't handle them. This girl is tough, so we brought her along. We thought that if the two men ran away on the way here, the girl alone could catch them back."

Jensen was a little confused. He raised his eyebrows and looked at Alice in surprise. "Are you

good at fighting?"

Hearing the voice again, Alice frowned and said, "Whether my fighting skills are good or not doesn't seem to be within the scope of this case. Would it make any difference? Since you've proved that I'm not a thief, can I leave now?"

Jensen smiled slightly and said, "Of course, you had nothing to do with it from the beginning."

Alice saw his smile which revealed his white teeth. He looked very shrewd and strong and filled with charisma.

She knitted her brows again, stood up, and walked out from her room.

Jensen also stood up to send Alice off.

After coming out of the interrogation room, Jensen caught up to Alice. He followed her and said beside her, "Is your name Alice Smith?"

Alice glanced at him and said coldly, "Didn't you know just now?"

"Yes," Jensen nodded. "You're a bit like your sister. You two can be very aggressive when you talk."

"I didn't force you to talk to me, but you insisted on coming to talk with me, and yet you blamed us for being aggressive. What's wrong with you?" Alice said with hostility in her voice.
