Alice Smith and Jensen Charm stared into each other's eyes. For a moment, they forgot what they had wanted to do.
Alice suddenly blushed. As soon as she came to her senses, she bent her legs and wanted to throw Jensen over her shoulder.
However, Jensen also snapped back to his senses and was on guard. He was a policeman and he had been in the military, so his instincts were sharp.
Alice exerted a lot of strength. In fact, she wanted to attack him and show him her skills in one go so that she could leave right after that.
However, not only couldn't she throw Jensen over, she was unexpectedly pulled into his arms instead.
Alice's back hit Jensen's chest without warning, and then her butt knocked onto him right after that.
"Hiss —" Jensen inhaled sharply because of the pain.
However, he still did not let go of Alice. He was holding her hand firmly and shackling her whole body with his arms.
Alice wanted to break free, but her strength was not comparable to Jensen's.
Her heart trembled and she felt very uncomfortable. She had always felt uneasy when a man was close to her.
Because of her alertness, she had always kept her distance with men. Now that she was constrained by a strange man, she found out that there would always be someone better than her. She had been practicing Judo and Taekwondo all these years but she was still not able to deal with a man.
She was a little irritated and shouted in a low voice, "Let me go. Do you hear me?"
Jensen's firm and strong abdomen pressed against her. He lowered his head and a warm breath fell on her neck.
Alice immediately froze, and she felt a chill down her spine. She gritted her teeth and shouted again, "Let me go."
"I want to see how good your skills are," Jensen's voice was next to her ear.
Alice immediately felt a buzz in her head.
It was as if she was enchanted.
When the other policemen in the corridor saw this, they all fixed their eyes on them.
What was going on?
Didn't their boss dislike getting close to women?
Why was he holding a woman in his arms and not letting her go?
"Boss!" The policeman passing by smiled and said coyly, "Are you sparring?"
Hearing this, Jensen cast a sharp glance at him, gritted his teeth, and said, "Yes, we're sparring!"
"Uh!" As soon as the man saw Jensen's attitude, he immediately said gloomily, "Please continue."
After saying that, he quickly walked away. Looking at the murderous look in his boss' eyes, it seemed that he had interrupted his boss' sweet time with someone.
In the policemen's eyes, Jensen was merely taking advantage of the little girl in the name of sparring.
"Hey, what's wrong with our boss over there? He doesn't seem to want to let go of the girl in his arms. But there's surveillance camera in our office area," the policeman said.
"Seems like our boss has taken a fancy on her. He had been like a heartless man all these years. Maybe it's finally time he falls for someone. Otherwise, how could he be so shameless to hold the young lady in his arms and not let her go?" the policeman's friend said.
"What a beautiful young lady," one of them praised.
"She's indeed beautiful, but she doesn't seem to want to be with our boss. I'm afraid that it's a onesided love," one of them commented.
At this time, Jensen and Alice were still sparring with each other. Their bodies were so close to each other that they couldn't use their moves at all.
Alice frowned. It seemed that she was no match for Jensen.
But why didn't he let her go?
Moreover, wasn't it inappropriate for them to hold on to each other like that?
She could even sense the negative reaction of the policemen behind her.
A look of discomfort flashed across Alice's eyes.
She said coldly, "Let me go. Do you hear me?"
There was also a hint of agitation in Jensen's eyes.
He seemed to be in a very awkward situation. If he let go of Alice, he was afraid that Alice would notice his discomfort.
"Is this all you have?" Jensen asked.
