True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) novel Chapter 2210

"I think the two of you are hiding something from me," Claudia said. "Honestly, I'm curious. I'm so curious."

Sylvia was amused. "Oh? What are you curious about? What could happen between Mr. Trevino and me? He's my teacher."

When Claudia heard that, she seemed to realize something. "On, so it seems like you're holding back about the matter because you're still a student."

Sylvia's heart jolted when she heard that. In the end, Claudia managed to guess the reason she was not revealing anything.

She felt helpless.

However, Sylvia did not say anything. She did not admit it, nor did she deny it.

At that instant, Claudia immediately understood. She smiled and said, "Now I know why Kendrix blocked me. It seems that it's all my fault. Alas, curiosity killed the cat."

Sylvia found Claudia's words amusing. "Indeed, we can't be too curious. However, there are times when we need to maintain a certain level of curiosity."

"So what if I'm curious? None of you are going to satisfy my curiosity," Claudia lamented with a sigh. "Forget it. I won't interrupt your video call anymore. Good night."

Claudia ended her phone call as abruptly as she had called. However, Sylvia knew that Claudia had already guessed what was going on.

Luckily, Claudia did not continue to make things difficult for Sylvia. Otherwise, it would definitely be even more awkward. Sylvia thought to herself.

When her call with Claudia ended, she received another incoming video call.

It was Kendrix. Sylvia immediately answered it and explained what had happened.

Kendrix frowned. "No wonder you suddenly hung up. So, it was because of Claudia."

Sylvia looked at Kendrix with her bright eyes. She felt it odd that Kendrix continued to contact her through his own initiative.

"Mr. Trevino," Sylvia suddenly said.

"Yes?" Kendrix raised his eyebrows, "What's 911"

"Have you noticed? It seems like it's getting harder and harder for you to be apart from me." As soon as she said that, her face turned even redder.

She felt that her words were a little too shameless, but she forced them out of her mouth.

She wanted to see Kendrix's reaction.

Kendrix was stunned at first, and his eyes widened as if he was experiencing a dramatic change. Then, he smiled mysteriously. It was a smile that was enough to make her heart skip a beat.

"Did I say anything wrong?" Sylvia hurriedly asked. "All right, I admit. I'm the one who can't bear to be apart from you. But I really like it when you take the initiative to call me."

When Kendrix heard that, he sighed. "Since you like it, then why do you need to be so shy about it?"

That was not the point! Sylvia thought to herself. Kendrix was too smart. He avoided her question so easily.

She could not get anything out of him at all.

Couldn't Kendrix just admit that he could not bear to be apart from Sylvia? Sylvia fume.

Seeing how he was gazing at her silently, Sylvia felt a little unhappy. She pouted and shot him an extremely aggrieved expression.

Kendrix could not help thinking how cute she was, and his gaze deepened. He wished that she could be in front of him right at that moment so that he could embrace her.

However, the reality was too cruel. He could only see her. He could not hold her.

Kendrix felt that the days ahead would be even more challenging. How could he control his urge to hug her?

A complicated look flashed in his eyes. Not wanting to make her feel even more aggrieved, he said, "If you were a college student now, I don't think I could restrain myself so much." Upon hearing that, Sylvia suddenly looked up at Kendrix once more.

She saw the burning desire in his eyes and suddenly smiled. "I know what you mean by that. We have the same thoughts."

Kendrix was stunned. Then, he smiled.

They looked at each other and laughed.

Kendrix gazed at Sylvia for a long time before finally saying, "Okay, it's getting late. You should get some rest.

"Okay." Sylvia nodded. "You should rest earlier too."

"I still have to work on a paper," Kendrix replied. "You go on and sleep first." "Wait! You're going to do some work? Then, I won't sleep too. I'll study and accompany you through this video call."

Kendrix hesitated for a moment, then he smiled and nodded.
