True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) novel Chapter 444

Aunt White's face froze. She was very embarrassed.

Laney anxiously said, "Tyler, your aunt said some things that she shouldn't have today because she was afraid that you would be taken advantage of."

"Mom," Tyler looked at Laney and said, "What losses have I suffered? Aren't you thinking too little of her?"

Laney was stunned and did not say anything.

She did regard Grace as a young lady with bad intentions.

"I don't regret what I said just now," Aunt White was also stubborn. "You can never be too mindful of someone's intentions. Who knows if she has any ulterior motives?" "Aunt White, what does this have to do with you?" Tyler said in a low voice, "You should know your place and not attend events that you have no rights to attend. Don't say things you shouldn't say. Obviously, you two have lived in vain."

"Grace is my friend. She helped me when I was in trouble."

He was a little angry.

"What would she want from me? If she wanted something from me, why would she help me when I'm in trouble? I was obviously poor and homeless. No one cared about me except her," Tyler said.

"We're just friends. We are not as dirty as you think," Tyler continued.

"I'm not doing anything illegal with her, and you two shouldn't think otherwise.¹'

"Mom, what did you two say to Grace just now?" Tyler asked.

"I didn't say anything," Laney said, "Go and bring Grace back here. I'll apologize."

"What's the use of apologizing?" Tyler said with a bitter smile, "Do you think apologizing would help after you stabbed her in the heart? Do you think it's alright to completely ignore the blood coming out of the wound in her heart?"

Aunt White stood up at once, looked at Tyler, and said in a harsh voice, "Tyler, you don't have to talk to your mother like that. I'm the one who said nasty things to her, and I don't regret it. I did it for your own good."

Tyler snorted and said bitterly, "If you keep doing this, do you think I would still dare to bring my girlfriend or my friends to meet you?"

He looked straight into Laney's eyes.

Laney was also startled. In a daze, she felt a little lonely.

Looking at his mother, Tyler couldn't bear it, but had to say, "Mom, she's my best friend and is worthy of being a lifelong friend. However, you don't respect her at all. It seems that you didn't take what I told you seriously.

Forget it. You guys can have your meal yourselves," Tyler said.

After saying that, Tyler turned around and left.

The door slammed shut.

In the private room, only Laney and her best friend were left.

Julia stared blankly at her good friend and sat back down.

"Laney, could it be that I was wrong?" Julia asked.

Laney let out a long sigh and said, "It's not your fault. I was too impatient. It's true that Tyler never said that Grace was his girlfriend. It's just that I really want him to have one."

"I really thought that she was his girlfriend," Julia also sighed. She was extremely annoyed. "It seems that my temper is too bad."

"I understand you," Laney smiled and said, "Okay, it's not your fault. I'll apologize to that girl some other day. It was just a misunderstanding."

"Forget it," Julia said. "It's not like she is his girlfriend. You don't need to meet her."

"Even so, we shouldn't make things difficult for her," Laney looked at her and said, "You should apologize, too."

Julia pursed her lips. "How can I apologize to a girl younger than me? I can't do it."

"Yet, you have the courage to talk bad about her just now?" Laney asked.

"I!" Julia was instantly choked to the point of losing her temper.

"Alright, we both must apologize. Or else, Tyler will never forgive me," Laney said, "I owe this child a lot."

Julia opened her mouth and looked at her. After a long while, she said, "Okay, I'll apologize. I'll do it."

"That's more like it!"

Tyler came out of the restaurant and got into his car. He didn't know where Grace had gone.

He had no choice but to try his luck.

Unexpectedly, he got lucky.

Grace and Chuck were walking out of the hall center, but they hadn't come out yet.

They were walking out the building. Fortunately, the exhibition center was very large and it would take some time for them to get out. However, it was not easy for them to leave now due to a current performance.
