Under the Heiress' Facade novel Chapter 1067

"Mr. Walter," said Amelia, following Victor Walter, her manager, into his office.

"Shut the door!" Victor told her, his expression dark as he plopped onto his armchair. He then threw the document Gideon gave her onto his table.

Amelia didn't feel like closing the door, but her colleagues outside were all looking this way. In the end, she had to close the door from those prying eyes.

"Are you thinking of starting a firm?" Victor asked, glancing at the document on the table. There was something strange about his tone.

He was a man in his 40s who had bald hair and a potbelly, which made him look rather unpleasant.

Setting aside the fact that Amelia had a son, Victor considered her to be quite attractive. Compared to his wife, Amelia was way more beautiful, and he once wished that she could be his mistress.

Who knew that she'd be so stubborn as to refuse him when he tried getting close to her?

Now, though, it seemed like she had been pretending to be righteous. She was actually a greedy, materialistic woman who didn't think Victor was rich enough.

She pounced on another man because he could give her more money!

Victor was furious at that realization. Amelia's family had fallen from glory, yet he couldn't even touch her.

Amelia wanted to explain. "I—"
