The angles of the photos were cunningly taken. Priscilla, upon seeing the photos of Augustus and Catherine holding hands and embracing intimately, was so furious that she threw her phone across the room.
"Catherine, you sly witch! I can't believe you're still seducing men at your age!" Priscilla cursed.
And Augustus clearly still had feelings for Catherine! No wonder he wanted a divorce as soon as he came back. He just wanted to rekindle things with Catherine! She wouldn't let them succeed!
Priscilla swore she wouldn't let Catherine have the upper hand.
But that wasn't even what angered her the most.
"Grandma, bad news! You need to talk to Grandpa. He's planning to give that plot of land near Jedburgh's suburbs to Youngworth Miracle Clinic," Marcus said as he rushed in.
"What!" Priscilla jerked up. "Do you have proof?"
"I just heard from the lawyer. This morning, Grandpa asked the lawyer to draft a contract to transfer the land. He should be at the clinic now." Marcus pulled out his phone and showed her the digital version of the contract sent by the lawyer.
Priscilla scanned the contract. Her expression darkened as she saw that the land and its development rights were being given away for free. Her chest heaved with anger.
She hadn't even agreed to the divorce yet, and Augustus was already eager to give away the family's assets.
"Grandma, come with me to Youngworth Miracle Clinic to stop them from signing the contract," Marcus urged.
He couldn't let the Chime family's assets be given away, especially to Hera! But he knew that only Priscilla could convince Augustus.
Priscilla took a deep breath and calmed down. "Don't worry, the Chime family's property won't be taken by anyone! Even if Catherine signed the contract, I'll make sure she returns it!"
Marcus immediately understood. If Augustus really gave the land to them, Priscilla, as Augustus' wife, had the right to reclaim it!
