"Naturally, we wouldn't know about the identity and whereabouts of Astral Nova's grandmaster, but Samson surely does," Desmond replied. "We can make it worthwhile for your cousin's girlfriend, Ms. Simpson. Have her make some arrangements so that we can meet up with Samson.

"Then, all we have to do is get the information out of Samson. It shouldn't be too troublesome. After we get his whereabouts, we'll give something to Astral Nova's grandmaster to make him help us."

Caroline shook her head. "You're not going to be able to enlist his help with any ordinary rewards. It'll take something precious and unique to get his attention at all."
