Elinor who has realized this sipped her lips, got out of bed and went to the kitchen where there were still some ingredients in the refrigerator.
Previously, Maria always abused her so that she learned to take care of herself when alone in the long period of time. She knew many skills, including cooking.
When she lived with Victor, most of the time, she took care of him. She would clean and dry dirty clothes regularly, fold them and put them at his door. She would clean up every corner of the house once a week. Victor was usually hungry late at night after he studied. If he casually said so, after he took a shower and went back to the study, he would see dishes prepared by Elinor.
It was Elinor who took care of him.
She actually did so without any complaints. She was good at these matters, if ignoring another person who always commanded her.
Victor watched her stumble out of bed at once and narrowed his eyes.
Then he watched her go out, and his voice followed. "Remember, don't put onions in any dishes."
She paused and responded in a low voice. "Well, I see."
She kept all his preferences in mind.
She dangled in the kitchen to make something for him to eat, and he played games alone in the living room. This feeling makes him feel as if they are living together, but on second thought, he feels ridiculous. There is no assumption of peaceful coexistence between himself and her, let alone cohabitation.
