Then Victor immediately gave an order of thoroughly investigating Elinor's foreign life during the past two years. His assistants were surprised when he received it.
Elinor? Who is Elinor? Is it not Darleen who Victor cares about? Why does he want to investigate Elinor?
Is she the siren who once seduced Victor?
They looked at each other and saw this guess in their eyes.
However, in the house, Elinor didn't know this thing, for she was busy catering Rutledge who visited her family.
Quincy bought takeout to cater Rutledge. Though he was stuffed, Quincy was still hospitable like an old elder. He didn't feel satisfied until they ate the food.
"I'm stuffed..." Kemp rubbed his stomach. "Elinor, I swear, the food almost sticks to my rib."
"Me too. It is estimated that we haven't had guests in our family too long, so Dad is so happy."
Elinor took a sip of orange juice. "Dad likes children very much."
"Does he regard me as his adopted son?" Rutledge pointed to himself with a smile, and then said, "Next, your father may put me up for the night sincerely."
Sure enough, after he guessed, Quincy opened a door with a thud from upstairs. "Hey boy, what's your name?"
Rutledge looked up at Quincy. "Uncle, my name is Rutledge."
"Oh yes, Rutledge, where do you live? Is it close to here?"
"It will take about half an hour to go back." Rutledge smiled. "What's up, Uncle?"
