Chapter 75 Elissa and Elijah
“Yeah. He has been staying with Elissa all the time for the past two days.” Imogen sniffed and smiled. “It’s good. I won’t be pestered by him again.”
Cordelia said sincerely, “I’m happy for you.”
How precious freedom was!
Imogen frowned and said, “Cordelia, are you alright? Did you quarrel with Elijah again?”
“No, it’s still the same,” Cordelia said lightly, trying to calm down, “He refuses to divorce, and I have no way.”
“What right does he have to delay your youth?” Imogen muttered in a low voice.
Cordelia smiled indifferently. “Anyway, if we divorce, I won’t marry again. I’m very patient. When he gets tired and bored, we will break up.”
“Okay, that’s fine.” Imogen smiled.
At this time, a man and a woman happened to pass by outside the window.
The woman was still in a red dress, looking enchanting. With a faint smile, the man lowered his head slightly and listened to the
woman’s words.
Although the two didn’t have any close physical contact, they seemed to be talking happily.
“Isn’t that Elijah? Why is he with Elissa?” Imogen was surprised.
Cordelia’s expression didn’t change, and she said, “In the box that day, Elissa seemed to be familiar with everyone.”
“Yeah, she is skilled at hooking up with men,” Imogen said jealously.
“Is Ben one of them?” Cordelia smiled and teased Imogen.
Imogen was taken aback for a moment, and then she grinned, “Of course, he will do whatever Elissa asks him to do.”
Cordelia patted Imogen’s hand, with a sincere expression. “Imogen, take it easy.”
Hearing Cordelia’s words, Imogen suddenly laughed, but there were tears in her eyes.
Later, Cordelia met Elissa in the bathroom.
Elissa was smoking in the bathroom, and while smoking, she was sending voice messages to someone.
“Ben, you know what I want. Since you can’t give it to me, I’ll find another man. Don’t regret it!”
Elissa’s lone was arrogant, as if she had conquered all the men in this world.
Was she talking about Elijah?
Cordelia washed her hands and went out. As soon as she turned around, she bumped into a strong embrace.
She backed away quickly and was about to apologize when she realized that it was Elijah who bumped into her.
“Elijah, are you here for me?” Elissa’s charming voice sounded behind Cordelia. “Have you booked the hotel room? I want a presidential suite.”
Cordelia frowned slightly and was about to leave, but she was blocked by Elijah’s arm.
