"Gilbert!" Caroline broke free from Charles' grip and dashed towards Gilbert, falling to her knees before him.

Allen and Abel also came over, both sporting injuries, but they could move fairly well.

Charles had already brought the car around, and Caroline, linking her arm with Gilbert's, urged, "Get in the car!"

"Alright."
