"Karol!" Sherilyn crouched down, her hands reaching out to steady her friend.

"Ouch..." Karol winced, sucking in a breath through her teeth. Despite the pain, a smile was plastered on her face, "It's nothing, just took a bit of a tumble."

"Here, let me help you up! Can you stand?"

"I think so."

With Sherilyn's assistance, Karol got back on her feet, being thoroughly inspected by her concerned friend, "Did you hurt yourself anywhere?"

"Nope." Karol assessed herself, then shook her head, "Just got a bit of a shock when I fell."

"And you say it's nothing?"

Sherilyn's eyes fell on Karol's arm, noticing a scrape along the inner forearm. Her brow furrowed, "You're bleeding."

"Just a scratch." Karol laughed it off, seemingly unbothered, "It's really nothing..."

"What's it to you?"

A voice came from the side, filled with disappointment, "Always sticking your nose where it doesn't belong. Why didn't you just fall and save us the trouble?"

"Excuse me?"

Sherilyn's head snapped towards the source of the comment, her eyes blazing. How could someone say something so cruel? Were they really a fan of Caroline's, sharing the same bitterness?

The Harrison family's security was already on the move.

"We need to get some ointment on that arm..." Sherilyn said, still concerned about Karol's injury.
