Chapter 1898
“She’s quite beautiful, and she seems like an intelligent woman.”
Theo’s face blushed scarlet as he replied, “Yes, she’s indeed an extraordinary woman.
“I used to think she was just an outstanding doctor, but the more I got to know about her past, the more I admire her.”
As he said this, he stared off into the distance, engrossed in his memories of Dr. Rachel.” Initially, I thought that she must’ve grown up in a family of doctors to become such an exceptional one, but after that, I found out that she was an orphan and had grown up in an orphanage. Everything she has now is a result of her hard work and determination…”
Bonnie nodded in agreement. “Don’t underestimate kids that grow up in orphanages; they can be surprisingly resilient.”
With that, she pointed at herself and added, “Actually, I had grown up in an orphanage myself.
Theo could not help furrowing his brows when he heard this. A split second later, he turned and stared at Bonnie in shock. “But aren’t you…the heiress to the Craig family?”
“Of course I am, but I accidentally got separated from my family when I was young.”
Bonnie stood up, gave a lazy stretch, and continued impassively, “I was adopted by the Lane family when I was a teenager, and I ended up falling in love with their son, Jason.
“He’s a bad person, but at that time, I naively thought that as long as he treated me well, it didn’t matter what kind of person he was to others, but…”
She let out a bitter smile. “After that, I found out that he treated me well because he had known all along I was the heiress to the Craig family fortune.
“Six years ago, he brought me to Banyan City to find my birth parents, but…my family refused to reclaim me, even with DNA evidence proving that I was their child, so I lost all my value to Jason.
“Thereafter, he tricked me into doing many bad things…and then wiped my memory after.”
Theo could not help feeling bad for Bonnie after listening to her story.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
