Facing the reporters with their cameras in all shapes and sizes, Luna frowned.
Why would these reporters be here at Anne’s apartment?
Only the Gibsons who were outside the police station, Joshua, Anne, and her boyfriend knew she spent the night at Anne’s apartment.
Joshua did not have to humiliate her with a scheme like this.
So this could only be Aura’s plot.
She snorted. Such a troublemaker, stirring up trouble for her the moment she was released from jail. Her sister was dedicated indeed.
With this thought, she barked out a laugh, swiped her hair back elegantly and said, “I’m sorry, but you should ask Mr. Lynch about this instead. I did announce my relationship with Mr. Lynch and his ex-wife did come home. Whether we would break up or not, and whether I will continue working at the Lynch Group, these are all Mr. Lynch’s decisions, aren’t they? Should I tell you his address?“
Her calm and collected expression, and how she turned their questions against them silenced the reporters.
“If there’s nothing important, I’m heading to work now.“
With that, she held onto the strap of her bag and walked out of the crowd of reporters elegantly.
When she left the housing area, Luna climbed into a taxi and her phone rang.
It was Joshua.
Luna hesitated for a second but answered.
“I saw the news.“ On the other end of the phone, the man’s voice remained cool and detached. “I asked Lucas to take care of it.“
She curled her lips emotionlessly. “Thank you, Mr. Lynch.“
There was a long silence from the other end of the phone.
“Last night I wanted to visit you but your friend said you were asleep.“
She turned and looked out the car window. “If you have anything to say, just tell me through the phone.“
Joshua sighed faintly, “Alice is back now, there’s no need to continue our charade. Thank you for taking care of Nellie and Neill all these years. Alice and I will take good care of them. In the future, you should… try not to see them. Children’s emotions come and go in an instant, I hope they can get along with Alice, and slowly grow to accept her as their biological mother. Your work at the Lynch Group will remain the same, but you don’t have to teach Nellie anymore, I’ll hire another teacher.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
