After a while, Arthur came out. She raised her eyes to look at him. He had been wearing a black suit before, but now he was in a silver–gray suit, bringing out his broad shoulders, narrow waist, and long legs. Arthur did have a perfectly proportioned body, and every move he made exuded a cold and noble air. 

Charlotte immediately stood up, thinking he was ready to leave. But to her surprise, Arthur suddenly asked, “How do I look?” 

Charlotte nodded. “Good. Let’s go.” 

Arthur stared at her for a moment and then said, “I don’t think this is good enough.” 

With that, he went back to the bedroom. 

Charlotte was confused, thinking, “What does that mean? 

Why did he change again? 

Why is he so serious about meeting my grandmother? 

Huh… It doesn’t matter how serious he is. I want a divorce, and my grandmother doesn’t like him!” 

Just then, her phone rang. She took it out and saw it was a call

“Hello?” 

She answered, her tone gentle. 

Pete asked, “How did it go? Did you talk it over?” 

“Yup, I’m about to see my grandmother.” Charlotte said, “You don’t have to wait downstairs. Everything is settled.” 

“I won’t leave.” Pete said, “I won’t feel at ease until I see Ava.” 

Charlotte thought for a moment. “Alright. You can follow us later.” 

“Okay.” 

After Charlotte hung up, Arthur came out again. 

This time he was in a black striped suit, elegant and noble. He adjusted his cuffs without looking up and asked, “How about this one?” 

“It’s good.” 

Charlotte’s tone remained calm. 

Arthur frowned instantly. 

Seeing this, Charlotte quickly said, “You look smart in it, very sharp. Can we go now?”
