Harriette’s POV 

He kissed me! Alpha Rowan kissed me! 

That was all I could think about even as he kissed me over and over again. I was busy having a happy dance in my head because of that. 

He held the back of my head so gingerly as he deepened the kiss, I tried to keep up but it was my second first time. I was a novice and there was no way I could kiss him back so feverishly. 

His other hand was wrapped around my waist while I wrapped both of my arms around his broad back 

Rowan removed his hand from the back of my hair and ran his fingers through my hair sending Shivers through my spine and a warm sensation to my toes. Being barefoot on the cold floor while being kissed was probably the greatest thing in the

His finger touched my lips before he sucked my bottom lip in his mouth. 

“I asked you a question, Wildfire,” 

My eyes went wide as my brain processed his words. I’d been so lost in his handsomeness that I forgot to answer his 

question. 

“Bed, I whispered shyly, hoping he would hear me. 

He did. 

He walked towards his room and I giggled because of whatever or anything. I didn’t know what was happy but all of a sudden, I was happy. 

He placed me gently on the bed and hovered over me. His hand was in my hair, while he stared into my eyes. My legs were above my knee and hidden between his lower body. 

He pushed my legs forward so I could straighten them. 

“When I need those knees up. I’ll let you know,” 

I didn’t understand what he meant but the way his thick, delicious voice said those words slowly yet firmly gave me goosebumps. 

“I’m sorry I hurt you at the Arena the other day,”

He laughed. “It’s not that way but since you made the explanation. I’ll accept it,” 

I nodded. 

All of a sudden, he wanted to stand up. I grabbed his shirt, stopping him from making that ridiculous move 

“What___what are you doing?” I asked him. 

“Relax, I’m not leaving. I already warned you that if you walked in, I wouldn’t stop for nothing.” 

exhaled loudly and he laughed. 

He stood up to remove his shirt. My mouth suddenly went dry at the sight. His body looked so toned and beautiful. 

Why was I using that word so much today? 

The light in the room shone on one part of his back and I could see some scars on his body. Even though I wanted to ask how he got those scars, I kept quiet. 

Rowan climbed back on the bed and kissed me again. I gently placed my hands around his back, thinking I could hurt him. I soon lost control of my senses when he kissed me again. 

He removed his lips from mine and kissed my chin before he kissed my neck and took his precious time sucking and nibbling at a particular spot. 

My toes curled up and my wet spots became 

“Alpha Rowan, can …” 

“Rowan,” he growled. 

I looked at him. “What?” 

“Don’t call me Alpha Rowan. Call me Rowan,” 

I smiled. “Okay! Rowan, can I take off my top?” 

He stared at my top before he nodded. 

Just the top,” he said. I frowned. 

As I struggled to remove the top, Rowan took over and tore it open. He tore my 

top. I let out a loud gasp and laughed.

I wasn’t wearing a bra so there was nothing else to remove.
