Begging the Divorced Heiresses Back novel Chapter 17

Evan’s POV:

I left for my office early in the morning. I wanted to take care of my business affairs first before going back to my game with Anya.

When I entered the meeting room, all the executives of the group were already sitting tightly with grim expressions on their faces.

“Good morning, Mr, Cater.”

As soon as I entered, they all greeted me.

“Let’s get started!” I said as I stopped at the end of the long conference table and sat down.

My secretary turned on the projector in a hurry and then served me a hot cup of coffee.

One after another, the executives also turned on their laptops, ready to take notes!

“We will focus on three aspects today, and…”

I said as I opened my laptop, but my voice broke the next second.

As soon as I opened the laptop, a picture popped out.

Moreover, my laptop was connected to the projector so everyone in the room was now looking at a naked picture of a man on the big screen!

‘What the hell!’

All executives exchanged shocked glances and some of them were, even so, shocked that they spat out a mouthful of coffee.

Looking at the picture, my eyes filled with murderous intent.

Because I was looking at my face on my naked body.

In the picture, I was posing as if I was some kind of $0.50 stripper, one hand on my waist, the other slapping my butt and blowing everyone a kiss.

I know it was a Photoshop image, but still, it didn’t stop my blood pressure from rising.

I hit the off button madly.

‘Hacking into my laptop and messing with me!’ I would like to see who has so much guts.

To my surprise, the pranks were not just finished. Just then, tons of memes popped up on the big screen.

And they were all about me! In one of them, I was even holding a thing and wiggling.

The jaw of the executives all fell to the floor and they hurriedly buried their heads, low, pretending that they had seen nothing.

However, their slightly shaking seats can’t hide the fact that they were laughing secretly.

“Who the hell did this?” I snapped, pounding on the table.

With a deathly pale face, my secretary said hurriedly, “We must have been hacked. I will check the IP address right away.”

My face was turned livid. ‘Whoever planned this low level-prank on me must be not spared! To be honest, as the leading enterprise of the whole X city, Carter group processed the most high-end facilities! How could be so easy to be broken into?’ I thought. “Damn it! It doesn’t matter. It only proved that my technical stuff is useless!” I cursed.
