Begging the Divorced Heiresses Back novel Chapter 18

Evan’s POV:

As soon as I entered the elevator, my eyes fell on Anya and Kester, who were standing at the side.

At the movement, Kester’s arms were surrounding Anya’s shoulder. They look like a sweet, intimate, and perfect couple!

Seeing this my face turned cold.

“Anya Walter! What do you think you have done? You think you little prank will work without everything out?”

Anya frowned deeply as she looked at me with her puzzled eyes. “What are you talking about?”

I sneered at her, “Yeah, like you don’t know! Nice try! You know what? I could charge you for stealing information from the Carter group right now. That’s enough to put you behind bars for eight or ten years!”

Anya’s face fell as she looked at me in confusion and asked, “I don’t understand any of that. You are going to charge me for what?”

Huffing I grabbed Anya by the jaw! “For trespassing! For hacking into properties! For stealing my business information!”

This seemed to irritate Kester as he pushed me away and said coldly, “I am warning you, Evan Carter. Don’t touch Anya. I don’t want to fight you in front of Anya!”

I shook of his hand off and said, “How dare you meddle in my personal affair with her!”

Anya’s POV:

Seeing that the situation was about to become tense, I hurriedly stopped Kester, standing between them and blocking Kester with my arms.

“Kester, there is no need to act like his kind!”

Evan had a bad temper, and he had been practicing boxing ever since he was a kid. If they both fight, It has a great chance that the person who would suffer the most will be Kester.

“Just listen to me, Evan Cater, I simply don’t know what you are talking about!” I said.

“Are you being serious right now? Fine, take a look at this IP address and say you don’t know again! Have you forgotten what you have done?” Evan said as he took out his cell phone and showed me a picture of the numbers.

I took a glance at it, but I still didn’t understand what he meant. “What the hell is this? What exactly are you trying to say?” I asked.

“Ding!”

At that moment, the elevator arrived at the floor where the conference room was. Evan took a deep breath. Then after the cold snort, he walked out without looking back.

“I will be here waiting for you, okay?” Kester said.

“No Kester, don’t worry. I can handle it. You have your own things to do. Don’t worry about me!”

“Alright then I’ll pick you up when I’m done with work!”

“Yeah, bye.” With that, I turned to the conference room.

Inside the conference room, Evan was lying back on the main chair of the conference room, smoking a cigarette.

Seeing me, he threw a stack of papers on the decks and said, “Here is everything! You can take a look. If there is no problem, sign it!”
