Betrayal At The Altar By Dolores Delia Chapter 119
“Nice to meet you, Ms. Grey.” The man leading the team smiled politely at Rachel Grey. “I’m Joseph Zimmer from Stellar Corporation.
“Hello.” Rachel nodded slightly, indicating for them to take a seat.
As the representative of this Stellar Corporation for this negotiation, Joseph sat in the middle of the table, opposite of Rachel.
On the other hand, David Jones sat at the side with his legs crossed, resting his elbows on the armrests. His slender fingers supported his forehead. Even though he did not say at word the entire time, it was still difficult to ignore his existence.
Even Rachel, who was a few meters away from him, could feel the man’s fiery gaze on her.
She cleared her throat and tried her best to ignore the man’s presence and focused on her work.
Rachel and David had already agreed on the terms of cooperation on the day of the auction. However, there was a change in the ratio of shares they had previously agreed.
The initial plan was for Johnson Corporation to take 55% of the shares and Stellar Corporation to take 45%. But now, Stellar Corporation openly requested 60% of shares.
The project manager’s expression changed slightly when he saw the changes in the contract. “Ms. Grey, this…”
Rachel glanced at him. The project manager did not continue what he was about to say, but he looked at the Stellar Corporation’s delegation with resentment.
“Our company hopes to gain more profit. In return, Stellar Corporation will undertake the design and construction. After the commercial district is officially completed, Stellar Corporation will carry out free publicity in all aspects,” Joseph said.
In the early days, Stellar Corporation relied on the media to make a name for itself. Even though it later began to develop in all aspects, its media section was still the best in the industry.
Marketing has always been a costly investment. Now that Stellar Corporation was willing to help promote marketing for free, Johnson Corporation would benefit significantly
from it.
Rachel closed the contract in her hand and said slowly, “We still retain the right to participate in the design and construction. To show our sincerity, we are willing to split it
50-50.”
Joseph was discussing with the people around him when he inadvertently glanced at David, who was sitting at the end.
Then Joseph suddenly realized Mr. Jones was staring infatuatedly at Johnson.
Corporation’s Ms. Grey. Mr. Jones abstained from women but did not seem like his usual self now.
poration were engaged in heated discussions. Joseph wanted to seck Mr. Jones‘ opinion, but he realized that Mr. Jones was focused on admiring Ms. Grey’s stunning beauty.
“I don’t think I can count on him…” Joseph thought.
After a while, Joseph said calmy, “We are willing to withdraw from the early stages of design and construction, but we will intervene in the later stages of planning. At the same time, we will maintain free offline publicity. To show our sincerity, we are willing to take on the publicity of all the oflline products of Johnson Corporation. What do you think. Ms. Grey?”
Faced with such an alluring face, Rachel was genuinely powerless to resist. In the end, she nodded.
