Chapter 255 Is He Showing Off To Me?
Businessmen valued the benefits in their hands the most.
Once their returns on investment decreased, they would naturally demand an explanation from Louis.
“That depends on the Smith family’s luck,” Rachel said.
It was not easy to get Mr. Zane’s investment back then.
Mr. Zane, on the other hand, was stubborn and conservative both in business and in relationships.
“Are you just going to wait and see?” Mary asked in disappointment.
“You know how I like to kick someone when they’re down.” Rachel chuckled. “By the way, don’t forget about tomorrow’s lunch date.”
“Don’t worry.” Mary said, “I’ll be there early. It’s been a while since the last time we went shopping together.”
“Okay.”
Speaking of which, it had been a long time since they went shopping together last time.
Rachel and Mary first came to the clothing store. Then they went to the lingerie store. When it was near the appointed time, David called.
“Where are you?” David asked.
Rachel frowned when she saw Mary gesturing at her with a
leopard–patterned bra. She quickly turned around and said, “I’m shopping in Times Square with Mary.”
She paused for a moment. “What about you? Are you done with your work?”
David said, “Turn around.”
Rachel saw David in a black suit standing in the corridor.
His well–tailored suit accentuated his tall figure, and his meticulous tie
exuded a strict sense of abstinence.
The bright lights shone on him, coating him with a layer of faint silver light, which made him look soft. However, his indifferent eyes carried inviolable
coldness.
Rachel looked at him and smiled.
David hung up and reached out to Rachel, looking at her expectantly. It was a simple action, but he did it with indescribable gentleness.
At that moment, there was only one thought in Rachel Grey’s mind.
Run to him and hug him tightly.
She had just taken a step when Mary grabbed her arm. “I want to go to the toilet. Accompany me.”
Rachel was speechless.
For real, her best friend was good at spoiling the mood.
Without waiting for her to speak, David walked towards Rachel step by step.
Mary caught a glimpse of David. Her eyes flickered with excitement as she kept looking at Rachel.
Rachel blushed and introduced the two to each other. “My good friend, Mary Green.”
“Hello, Miss Green.” David smiled politely.
Mary smiled and nodded, but her gaze was sizing David up and down critically.
Not to mention his temperament, his face alone was prettier than those stars in the entertainment industry.
His black eyebrows were exquisite. His eyes were deep, and his nose was high. Every part of him revealed he was the one that God favored.
Most of the customers in the lingerie shop were women. The existence of David was especially eye–catching.

Its ridiculouse to think it is normal to love bomb someone for couple of days and then they are in love. They dont know each other at all. So annoying to read. And whats more, to kiss by force is romantic?? How the hell is that romantic?? Cant understand its logic....
