Elsie added, "Besides, my dad told me that an international company has set up business in Greenfield City. Prosper Stitch Group will surely go head to head with that company. Why don't you take this opportunity to curry up to that new company and join forces to go against Prosper Stitch Group?"
Although Edward felt dizzy, he could understand Elsie's suggestion. It made sense.
Janice was only lucky to have Edward's support. Otherwise, she couldn't have won international competitions with her inconsistent crochet skills.
Even now, he refused to admit that his bad fortune stemmed from losing her.
Simon sat up, and Elsie rested her head on his shoulder. "Simon, I believe in you. You can do it."
"I've left Refined Threads Co."
"Seriously?" Elsie was stoked. "When did that happen? What went down?"
"That bitch, Janice, kicked me out of the company." His resentment resurfaced when he recalled the decision.
Janice had no money or talent. She had only managed to make a name for herself thanks to Edward's support. She had no right to kick him out of the company!
Simon felt indignant about Janice's move.
Clenching his jaw, he hissed out the words, "She bought out my shares! I'll make a comeback again!"
Elsie took her time and cooled down. "That's not a bad thing. You should cut ties with her. By the way, the new company that is setting up business in the city is called Onley Group. Do you want to work for them?"
"No!" Simon would never work as an employee. He believed that he was destined to be a chairman, and he refused to take orders from anyone else.
"So, you—"
"You're right, Elsie. I need to buck up. That's why I'll establish a new company and get the support of Onley Group."
