Amelia gleefully hit Heidi with full force. "Serves you right!"
After beating Heidi up, Amelia straightened up, feeling cathartic.
She deliberately attacked Heidi's Achilles heel, saying, "Look at you now! Edward will never fall for you! Janice is making a name for herself globally while your family is in decline. You're practically a loser who's sleeping on the streets!"
Heidi wailed, "Shut up!"
Amelia quickly left the room just in case Heidi attacked her. Just then, Heidi saw Zedrick walking over to Amelia. The two whispered to each other.
Heidi fumed. What the heck? Did they know each other? How was Amelia this lucky?
Was Zedrick blind? What did he see in Amelia?
Realizing the truth, Heidi yelled madly, "Amelia is a diseased woman! I'm telling you now! She has a sexual disease—AIDS! Stay away from her! You don't want her to pass it to you!"
The mention of passing HIV triggered something within Zedrick right away. He smiled. "Wow, I can't believe you still have the strength to yell."
The bodyguards immediately got the hint from Zedrick's look. They immediately started slapping Heidi on the cheek.
Feeling numb from the slapping, Heidi nonetheless continued her shouting, "I'm serious! She is diseased! Trust me! Amelia is dying. Don't get yourself into trouble! I'm telling this for your own good, so why are you beating me up?"
Devoid of emotions, Zedrick replied, "That's because you deserve it."
…
Louis was surprised to see Amelia when she arrived on the first floor. He remembered her as the woman deeply in love with Zedrick years ago. Unfortunately, Zedrick transmitted HIV to her.
"Hi, you're Ms. Burnett, am I right?" Louis greeted her, only to be ignored.
Before this, Heidi had threatened to mess with Janice in the competition.
Amelia wondered the reason why Zedrick and Louis were looking for Shirley, but again, it was none of her business. She was glad to see Heidi in trouble. So, she offered a vague answer, "Heidi has been claiming she's Shirley Olson from the start."
Right now, Amelia was unsure whether or not Heidi was Shirley. However, as an outsider, she had a feeling that Heidi wasn't Shirley.
When she briefly crashed at Heidi's place, she had witnessed Heidi's personal crochet work. Heidi's craftsmanship was worse than the unfinished work of Janice that Amelia had destroyed before.
"Are you sure?" Zedrick asked.
Amelia calmly made some misleading statements. "I'm not sure. That's just what Heidi claimed. I don't understand what she's scared about. Sometimes, she looks reluctant to go into the details."
Upon hearing that, Zedrick had formed a guess.
