Chapter 74 

Walking behind Castiel, Lucian felt like he could barely breathe. 

As Castiel got closer to Niamh, the distance between them was so small that the coffee splashed on him was now smeared all over her white dress. 

Niamh, a known clean freak, lost it completely. “Castiel, have you lost your mind?” 

The next moment, she screamed in pain. 

Castiel’s kiss was forceful and intense, completely devoid of his usual. gentleness. His sudden move caused everyone to bury their heads in work. and act as if nothing had happened. 

Suddenly, a strong taste of blood filled his lips. 

Niamh struggled to push him away, but Castiel remained as immovable ast a mountain. His warm breath lingered by her ear as he whispered.

Niamh couldn’t have imagined that he was trying to placate her. 

In the past, each time she got mad, Castiel would let her calm down first. and then placate her like this. 

The method always worked wonders for her. Each time Castiel used it, he could successfully turn Niamh’s anger into forgiveness. Even when she faced the cold treatment from the Jamison family, as long as Castiel comforted her, she could let it all go.

Niamh didn’t push him away. In response to his placating, her tone grew colder. “What do you want from me now?” 

She knew Castiel was completely clueless and merely swayed by external opinions. His trust in Macy’s words was absolute, and he had no plans of asking for Niamh’s forgiveness. All he wanted was for her to compromise on Macy’s incident.

Niamh was unwilling to go with him, but Castiel’s grip on her wrist was forcefully firm. In the end, she had no choice but to get into the car with 

him. 

However, as the car approached the hospital, Niamh’s heart grew colder. It turned out he hadn’t given up. 

“Castiel, what do you actually take me for?” she asked. Despite her refusal, he had still brought her there. 

In the past, whenever she said no, he would never force her to do anything. But now, he seemed to be driven to madness.
