Standing in the doorway was none other than Dylan, who had returned unexpectedly. 

After Victor’s call, Dylan had indeed planned to leave. But as the elevator doors were closing, he thought he’d caught a glimpse of Suzy’s figure–just like that brief moment outside the ICU earlier.
