Chapter 0448
Suzy thought for a moment. “Let’s keep this to ourselves for now, especially from Dylan.”
With his injuries as severe as they were, his recovery had to take priority.
Allen gave Suzy a conflicted look. “Boss…”
He seemed to want to say something, but in the end, the words never left his lips.
Suzy could guess what was on his mind. “The fire before, and the explosion–it wasn’t Claude who saved me. It was him.”
“I see. So, he’s been silently doing all of this for you,” Allen said, a note of surprise in his tone. “Honestly, I’m starting to see him in a different light.”
Allen wasn’t unreasonable. While Dylan had done things in the past that hurt Suzy, most of it had been under Anne’s manipulation.
Lately, everything he’d done for Suzy hadn’t gone unnoticed. Dylan had risked his life for her on multiple occasions–something Claude, with all his false charm, could never
measure up to.
With that thought, Allen said, “Boss, no matter what decision you make, I’ll support you.”
Suzy glanced at him but didn’t dwell on the topic. Instead, she shifted back to the tattoo. Look into it. See if it’s really what you suspect.‘
“Understood.”
After Allen left, Suzy sat deep in thought for a long time.
If the tattoo truly wasn’t connected to Claude, it could mean the existence of another faction. Could this same group have been behind the attack on Dylan three years ago?
The more she thought about it, the more unsettled she became. Finally, she decided to
head to the Harlow estate.

Suzy scoured the room but found nothing linking him to the tattoo. She even hacked into his computer, combing through it inside and out, yet there was still nothing to be found.
Could it really be true that the tattoo had no connection to Claude?
Still uneasy, Suzy decided to check Claude’s other residence–the secluded mountain villa where he had lived while masquerading as Hawk.
Here, Suzy uncovered more of Claude Harlow’s secrets–how he had managed to

masquerade as Hawk, and more…
Among the discoveries, she found stacks of handwritten journals.
Each one detailed his feelings for her, starting from their very first meeting to the day he faked his death.
Every single day was meticulously documented, filling two large crates with dozens of notebooks.
Every word radiated his intense emotions, leaving Suzy feeling deeply conflicted as she
read them.
