Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja) novel Chapter 1265

Jolin had just started her sophomore year in college. She had always lived on campus and didn't own much, only a small suitcase that she had brought with her.

Upon seeing such a lavish mansion, her eyes sparkled with awe, but she managed to conceal her emotions, standing obediently in the grand hall.

Only when Ian descended the staircase did she lower her head and call out, "Mr. Raymond."

Ian glanced at her suitcase, noticing she had changed her clothes. Strangely enough, her outfit was identical to the uniform Maja wore in high school, the uniform of a high school in Crystalbrook Valley.

A simple white t-shirt with loose black pants, adorned with a red stripe down the side. Seeing her, Ian was momentarily taken aback, as if Maja from his high school days was standing before him.

"Are you from Crystalbrook Valley?"

Jolin nodded, a bit shyly.

"Yes, I went to high school in Crystalbrook Valley."

What a coincidence.

Ian's eyelashes fluttered downcast, while Jolin stood there, uncertain of where she would be staying.

"Which high school in Crystalbrook Valley?"

Jolin obediently answered again.

It turned out she went to the same high school as Maja.

"And college?"

"Solstice College, I'm studying art."

Ian's actions halted abruptly. If it weren't for the background check he had already done on this woman, he would have thought someone had intentionally groomed a Maja look-alike to approach him.

Studying art at Solstice College, went to high school in Crystalbrook Valley, and even resembled Maja.

A hint of emotion flickered in his eyes, and after a long pause, he spoke in a hushed tone, "Jeff, take her upstairs."

Jeff was unsure whether to arrange her stay in the master bedroom or another room.

"Sir, which room?"

Ian pulled out a cigarette, about to light it up when Jolin stepped in.

"Mr. Raymond, you should cut down on smoking. You've had quite a few in the lounge tonight."

She took the cigarette from his hand.

Ian stared at her face, feeling a moment of disorientation.

He pulled her into his embrace with a sudden force. Seeing this, Jeff quickly picked up Jolin's luggage and headed upstairs.

A sweet disbelief spread across Jolin's face. She slowly raised her arms and wrapped them around his waist.

A wave of self-loathing washed over Ian. He decided to keep Jolin close. He knew what she wanted.

She was naive, foolish, but obedient.

What she wanted was exactly what he could give, unlike Maja, who refused to acknowledge his feelings, thinking he was not worth showing off.

He buried his face in Jolin's neck, his eyelashes brushing against her skin.

Jolin was almost dizzy with happiness. The man who had appeared in financial interviews, was now holding her.

He held her so tightly, as if she was his greatest love.

Her heart pounded wildly in her chest. Suddenly, she felt that she would willingly die for him.

Just half an hour ago, all she wanted was to get everything she desired.
