Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja) novel Chapter 2082

To prevent Maja from encountering such incidents in the future, the root of the problem had to be addressed.

"Alright, young master."

After hanging up the phone, Beck closed his eyes in contemplation.

In less than ten minutes, he received a response.

"Young master, we found a text message on Anna's phone. It was this message that provoked her to act against Ms. Pennyfeather. The first attempt was thwarted by a bodyguard, and it was only on the second attempt that she sought Alan's help."

"Whose number sent the message?"

"It appears to be a hacker, deeply concealed."

"No matter how deep, dig them out. I want to see what kind of demon is lurking behind."

"Give us a day, and we'll bring this hacker to you."

Beck breathed a sigh of relief, feeling content that as long as the matter was resolved, it proved the Sanders family's power was sufficient to protect Maja.

His gaze then shifted to Stella, lying on the bed.

Sweat covered Stella's forehead, her hand still clutching his sleeve, refusing to let go. Beck had no choice but to let her be.

By evening, Stella finally woke up. Seeing Beck resting his eyes by her side, she couldn't help but admire his handsome features, those charming eyes that had won the hearts of many, yet, strangely, no one had ever labeled him a heartbreaker. It was clear he treated his ex-girlfriends well.

Despite her fever not subsiding, Stella felt she could see Beck's face all too clearly.

"Beck."

Her voice was hoarse as she called out to him.

Beck immediately woke up and had some porridge brought in.

Stella wasn't in the mood to eat, feeling nauseous.

But Beck came over, enveloping her in his arms.

"Eat."

She took a bite, and he fed her another, "Keep going."

Surprised by the affection, Stella managed to eat half the bowl before Beck stood up.

"Now that you're fine, I should be going. You've already taken up my entire afternoon."

Stella looked down, but after a moment, she looked up at him directly.
