Walter furrowed his brow, realizing that this was something that needed careful handling. It seemed Beck would have to take matters into his own hands.
He glanced at Dylan and sighed, acknowledging the bond they shared.
"Beck, you need to make this look convincing. My family owes a huge favor to Jason's family, and my parents have made it clear. Since Stella isn't part of the Sanders family, I’m not to hold back. So you can't let anything slip, got it? Otherwise, I'll have a hard time explaining things."
Beck nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation he was about to manage.
In just three days, Beck arranged for a body to be recovered, one that had been through enough to be unrecognizable at first glance. After a professional forensic examination, it was confirmed to be Stella. The news spread quickly within their circle.
While keeping an eye on the Moore family, Beck sent updates to Walter.
Walter replied promptly, saying that the family still had some doubts, but assured Beck that a resolution was near.
Beck waited patiently for another day before Walter finally got back to him in the evening.
"They believe it now, but remember this: Stella can never return to North America. It'll be impossible for me to explain otherwise."
"Got it, I owe you for this."
With the Moore family matter settled, Beck began to reflect on his feelings for Stella.
Despite Dylan's previous warnings, Beck couldn't quite convince himself he felt anything akin to love for her. Love was a word that seemed too daunting to even consider.
After spending three days in his villa, Beck decided it was time to find Stella again.
His people searched the border for a long time, but she seemed to have vanished into thin air, as if she never existed.
Unwilling to accept defeat, Beck set out to the border himself. This time, he found a clue, discovering that Stella had hidden herself away in a remote area.
Compared to other parts of the border, it was indeed a place where one could easily remain undiscovered.
He immediately took a car and headed there.
He arrived just as the sun was setting, spotting Dave swinging a hoe as if planting something.
Beck strode over and grabbed his arm.
"Where's Stella?"
Dave was caught off guard by Beck's swift arrival and sneered.
"Why are you looking for her? She waited for you at the airport that day, but you never showed. She's moved on now, so stay out of her life."
Ignoring Dave, Beck made his way towards a nearby small cabin.
Upon entering, a strong medicinal smell hit him, almost overwhelming his senses.
"Stella?"
He called out, hearing a faint cough in response.
Pushing open the inner door, he found Stella standing by the window.

The readers' comments on the novel: Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja)
Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
When will the author update to finish Beck's story? What about Dylan and Tyler's love lives? Also, I'll like the author to write on Wilma and Elvis ending up together as she was quite persistent in pursuing him. And Shawn's story, Cornelia Sullivan and Omar Casson. Also, a little write-up on Jeff (Ian's assistant) love life, too. Thanks, author for updating....
