Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja) novel Chapter 2120

Tyler hung up the call and was about to take the fruit offered by the girl next to him, when the door to the private room swung open. There stood Athena, and his brow furrowed instantly.

Surely she wasn't here specifically to find him.

By all rights, she was a timid soul, not the type to make such bold moves.

But Athena walked straight over to him, her eyes on the spot beside him.

There were two other women sitting next to Tyler, leaving no room.

Athena, without a second thought, moved one of the women aside and took her place, picking up a piece of fruit and holding it to his lips.

Interesting, the timid rabbit suddenly showed her claws.

The woman she displaced initially looked ready to protest, but a glance at Tyler's expression made her think better of it, and she quietly slunk away.

Tyler opened his mouth and accepted the fruit Athena offered.

A hint of delight crossed Athena's face, and she asked him, "Do you even know my name?"

Tyler shook his head. He wasn't one for pretense; he genuinely didn’t know her name. But her performance in bed had been impressive, and if she wasn’t the clingy type, he might be inclined for a repeat.

Too bad she’d tracked him down here; clearly, she wanted something more.

Tyler could offer money, but a formal relationship was out of the question.

"I'm Athena. You promised I’d be your girlfriend," she declared.

The room was packed, and everyone knew about Tyler’s exploits. Yet no one had ever dared demand more from him, especially when he was openly enjoying the company of other women.

Athena? Nice name, but so what?

Tyler chuckled, releasing the other girl from his embrace. "Nice name, but I gave you money this morning, which you refused."

"You said you'd make me your girlfriend."

Tyler’s brow furrowed. Was she not getting the hint? Didn't he make himself clear?

The whispers around them began, people marveling at Athena’s audacity to openly covet Tyler, unafraid of his notorious infidelity.

Tyler had always been frank with his lovers: being a side chick was beneficial for everyone. Become a girlfriend, get cheated on daily, and be the butt of jokes.

That had been enough to deter many.

Everyone knew Tyler was generous with his lovers—offering resources freely—but he was notoriously strict with his girlfriends.

"Are you dense? Even if I said you could be my girlfriend, I can break it off now."

In just one morning, the girlfriend title had expired.

Athena lowered her lashes, pondering before she looked up. "So, am I your ex now?"
