Tyler had been passed out on her for a solid three hours before he finally came to. He laid her gently on the nearby couch and grabbed a blanket from the armrest, draping it over her. He couldn't be bothered to carry her back to her bedroom, not that he even knew which room was hers.
Once he’d straightened himself up, he took another look around. Her place screamed Athena—a woman who knew how to live sensibly. Not like those other Hollywood starlets with homes full of designer labels and little else.
As Tyler drove away, he felt the tension in his body ease. He was in a pretty good mood, but his feelings toward Athena remained unchanged. Sure, they could hook up a few more times, but anything beyond that? Yeah, no thanks.
Athena didn't wake up until morning. That couch was comfy, all right, but sleeping on it left her with a sore back and aching muscles.
Her phone rang. It was Doris, her agent, calling to check in.
"Doris, he left just past midnight. And yeah, we did it again."
Doris paused, her tone a mix of disbelief and frustration. "Did he remember your name this time?"
"I'm pretty sure he did. I made it a point to introduce myself again."
Doris nearly lost it. "Are you serious? Do you have any idea how much other actresses get just for one night with Tyler? But you? You've been with him twice, and all you've got is him remembering your name. Are you proud of that? My grandmother always said you'd get played if you're not careful."
"It's not that dramatic, Doris. It was my choice. Besides, I'll have more chances to see him."
"So, did you at least get his contact info this time?"
Athena hesitated. She'd forgotten all about asking for his number.
Doris didn't need to hear her answer; Athena's silence said it all. "You're clueless! It's my luck to end up with a client like you! Fine, you won't ask Tyler for anything, I'll do it myself!"
"Doris, please don't."
"You—!"
Doris was at a loss for words. Seeing Athena's timid demeanor only made her more frustrated.
"Whatever. I won't meddle anymore. You've got a few scenes to shoot around noon, so get here soon. Oh, and keep things with Tyler under wraps. Anna's still trying to get his attention, but she didn't succeed last night. Tyler left without her."

The readers' comments on the novel: Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja)
Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
When will the author update to finish Beck's story? What about Dylan and Tyler's love lives? Also, I'll like the author to write on Wilma and Elvis ending up together as she was quite persistent in pursuing him. And Shawn's story, Cornelia Sullivan and Omar Casson. Also, a little write-up on Jeff (Ian's assistant) love life, too. Thanks, author for updating....
When will get update?...
What is wrong that the author has not updated this novel in over a month or is there somewhere else that I can continue reading the novel from chapter 1951 upwards? Do tell, please. Thanks....
