“Blaze, | have to thank you as I've had a good time in the Cohen family. I'm very sorry about Baxter. Since we're divorced, | hope our paths can end here, and let's not disturb each other anymore."

Blaze smiled and thought Astrid was very cunning.

“What if | disagree?"

"You wont."

Blaze had his pride. He gave her a hard time last night because he couldn't accept her sudden change.

What was more, she saved Gideon. Since Blaze cared so much about him, she believed Blaze would give in. After all, Blaze still needed her for Gideon's recovery.

Astrid had been very clear about what she wanted, and she could always find a way to get it.

Blaze chuckled but didn't give anything away.

"| have to admit you've got guts, Astrid."

Astrid was the only one who dared to challenge his patience over and over again and could get away with it safely. She was a woman as well.

"Thank you. You're flattering me."

Astrid shrugged. She was not anxious and believed that she would find a way to make Blaze agree.

"It seems you forgot what | said."

Blaze was threatened once by Astrid. He wouldn't be tricked twice.

"| have confidence in myself."

Astrid brushed her long hair. Her graceful neck looked like an elegant white swan when he looked at her from the side.

Everyone knew Astrid was pretty, except for Blaze. He only regarded her as a task arranged by Baxter.

“Are you learning from the same teacher as Mark?"

"Mark is one of my seniors at the Denveil Medical University, but my medical skills are taught by someone else. We are alumni but didn't learn from the same teacher."

Astrid was not sure if Blaze would be startled if he knew she had never been to Denveil Medical University.

She only submitted a few papers, and Denveil Medical University awarded her a degree.

“Who is your teacher?"

"Sorry, I'm afraid | can't tell you."
