Is it weird that I feel like I love this guy? Not like I like the brothers, but just his energy and spirit. It's the same with Onai and Brittany and Krys. It's like I love them as friends. I smile with him before I catch the side eye from the brothers.
And on top of that, Michael and Onai are still glaring at each other for some reason. I remember my dream and I'm just like... hmmm. But I won't say anything.
Michael sighs and scratches his forehead out of nowhere. "So if you're with all of them, Mia, what are you gonna tell Mom and Dad? Are you just gonna say you're with Aiden like you did with me?"
I really wish he'd stop repeating that again and again. I'm about to say no, but I'm cut off.
"That seems like the most logical decision," Aiden says, his calm expression never changing. "It would probably be the easiest method of-"
"Oh cut the crap," Carson says. "You just want her family to yourself."
"I don't know what you're talking about." Aiden doesn't spare him a glance.
"Oh really?" Carson asks.
Aiden doesn't respond.
Axel gives him the side eye. "We can hear your thoughts from here, Aiden."
"Did you hear the shut up part?" Aiden asks.
Axel stumbles back, shocked.
Carson catches him, rubbing his shoulders like a boxer in the corner. "Don't let him talk to you like that, Axel. Beat him down."
"Okay never mind. That's clearly a conversation for another day," Michael says chuckling awkwardly.
"We're still working on jealousy," I say quietly, feeling the need to defend myself.
Michael looks at me warily. "Spare me the details. I guess those are all the questions I have for now... I don't think I really wanna know anything else." He looks at me suspiciously.
I don't know why he's staring at me like that, but now that I can talk to him, there are so many things I want to share. Like the divisions and the crazy daycare and jumping dude and the meeting and everything. I open my mouth to tell him as much, but he cuts me off.
"Eh," He puts his hand in my face. "I don't wanna know."
"What do you mean?" I furrow my brow.
He avoids eye contact. "All I've gotta say is use protection."
My face lights up like a Christmas tree. I can't even look at the brothers. "That's not what I was going to say," I scream at him.
