I rub my chin, even with Dante staring at me like I'm growing a second head. WWAD? What would Axel do in this moment?

"Mia," imaginary Axel winks at me from his bed, smiling gently. "Come home safely... Quickly."

I wave the thought away, blushing furiously. That's not right. I try again.

"Mia," Axel says in an old, wise voice. He's standing in the middle of the daycare, holding that little girl that's always trying to bite me. "Watch out for allergies, Mia~" He waves his arms dramatically.

Of course, allergies! "How could I forget?" I turn to Dante, taking a step closer.

He raises an eyebrow, taking a step back. "Uh... Forget what?" Why does he sound scared all of a sudden? He gestures for personal space.

I raise an eyebrow. Why is he doing that? I'm nowhere near him. "What's wrong?"

He keeps his eyes on the space behind me. I turn around, but there's no one there. Why won't he look at me? He looks at the guard beside him instead. She takes several steps back, getting away from him.

I don't even care anymore. "Listen. It would be great if you could just get somebody to ask around about allergies-" I jerk back.

Aiden looms over me from the side. If looks could kill, he would've buried me three times over. What's up with these two?His eyes shift from me to Dante. Then he looks at the rest of the fourteen members. "You have your orders," he says flatly.

They all but run away. Even Dante. Hey, isn't he supposed to take orders from me? I glare at his retreating figure. I'm gonna have a talk with Suzie later. This is unacceptable.

"What is it?" I look at Aiden suspiciously. Last time I checked, he didn't want to help with the care packages.

"A word," he says. He walks to the side, and I follow him. It's as away from everyone else as we could possibly get in this situation. His voice is way too calm for the hostility in his eyes.

"Do you have any idea how much all of this costs?" he asks.

I furrow my brow. "Me? You're the one who gave a second water bottle. And Carson did the snack thing."

"It was your idea in the first place," he says firmly.

If you had a problem, you should've said so before." I turn to walk away, but he stands in front of me.
